Olivia turned 4 months old on Saturday.
We celebrated by feeding her rice cereal. It was a mess party! Most of it went all over her, and not into her tummy and by the end of it she was pretty frustrated. In fact, she started kicking those legs of hers and kicked the bowl of rice cereal all down mom's shirt and into her lap. I think we may have an opinionated little girl... it has already started and I don't think that is a good sign...
Some things about this cute little bug:
rice cereal business, she gets one every. single. night.
She got sick for the first time this week. It was sad. She had a cough and a low fever, but she just snuggled and slept all day long. It was no fun for any of us.
We may have a vain little girl. She absolutely loves looking at herself in the mirror... except in this picture the phone was distracting her... you'll just have to trust me on that one.
She smiles, mostly for mom and dad, but sometimes for other people too. We got her to laugh 2-3 times. It was the cutest thing, I can't wait until that happens more often!
Her rattle is another favorite toy. She is learning to reach for it and grab it and, of course, bring it to her mouth.
We gave her a little bedtime routine and she is finally going to sleep at a decent hour! It's so nice for this momma to get a little more sleep!
Everyone always comments on her "big eyes". I keep telling her not to stare so much or people will think she's weird or crazy (just kidding. kind of.) But really, she keeps her eyes open all the way all the time. She must just be taking in everything around her.
She is getting closer to rolling over, she arches her little back and turns but can't quite make it all the way over unless mom or dad give her a little push :)
We love our baby girl!!
